Christina Collison - DementiaNet Content Creator & Dementia Help Magazine Editor-in-Chief
Christina’s media career has spanned more than 35 years. As a former editor and publisher at several high-end glossy magazines and the founder of three of her own titles in the health and fitness sector, Christina created Dementia Help magazine to support those affected by dementia. Christina was motivated by her mother Hazel’s battle with vascular dementia. This initiative was recognised as the Most Trusted Dementia Support Platform 2024 at the Global Health & Pharma’s Social Care Awards and Carers Support Organisation of the Year in Corporate LiveWire’s Innovation & Excellence Awards 2024.
Christina is also a published author of six books on topics covering dementia care, health and self-improvement. She has completed specialised dementia training and has spoken about dementia care at The Alzheimer’s Show and on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire Show.
Kay Warboys - Content Creator and Editor
Kay has been writing in one form or another for more than 25 years having started her career in journalism, she moved to magazine publishing and has edited publications on a freelance basis for Sky, Royal Mail, Tesco, Aviva, Barclays and Lloyds. She's also worked for the Daily Mail, The Sunday Times, House Beautiful and weekly magazines.
Moving into digital, Kay managed projects for the likes of Tesco, Delia Smith, Procter & Gamble, Boots, Merck, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s. She’s collaborated with not-for-profits on projects as diverse as alleviating fuel poverty, promoting green spaces and tackling mental health problems in City workers and has been commissioned by Fortnum & Mason, the UK government and Buckingham Palace and she sings in a dementia choir!
Lyndsey Mitchinson - Content Researcher and Reviewer
Lyndsey has extensive experience within the marketing and events field, with a diverse 25-year career in a range of sectors including local authority, education and retail. She’s worked in a number of fast-paced marketing environments, managing multiple projects; websites, social media accounts, digital marketing campaigns, visitor guides, promotional films, press launches and conferences in the UK and internationally. Lyndsey is passionate about DementiaNet, having cared for her own father through his dementia.
